What is a Cycle in Baseball
A baseball cycle is one of the rarest feats in Major League Baseball. A player to hit for the cycle must record a single, double, triple, and home run in the same game. Since MLB history began, only 28 players have managed three cycles, while just 18 have achieved multiple cycles. The first cycle happened in Major League in the 19th century, with John Reilly being the first player to accomplish it.
